Gift Aid donations
Donations may be made to any size charity under the gift aid scheme. Political parties are not charities and therefore it does not apply. I think you are confusing the rules of gift aid with the adjustment of trading profit rules for when a donation is an allowable deduction in deriving the adjusted trading profit of the business! These are 2 separate issues!
