What should be my approach if I am unable to solve a certain part/point of consolidation or reporting?
For example, I am not able to understand one of the notes given with the consolidation question and I have spend enough time already on it.
This is what I faced during my revision in reporting questions especially.
The marks for a question are in your workings. If you can’t work out an adjustment required by a working, LEAVE IT! It’s only worth 2 or possibly 3 marks.
Move on! Pick up the (relatively) easy marks from further on in the question, or even move on to the next question
Whatever you do, DON’T GET STUCK – its not worth it!
Great!
Thanks for superb advices and guiding us!
