So, i’m about to embark on another set of the ACCA exams. I would like to change my study approach.
Im looking for a way to get myself organised. Do you guys have any suggestions on how you plan or schedule the exams and studying the content?
Would love some ideas and suggestions!
I usually plan my study session backwards from the exam.
Firstly I decide which evenings/days I’m going to study and starting from Exam day plan my mocks plus all of the past papers I can find for each session working backwards. It usually leaves me two months from the exam. Then I count backwards and do the same with the revision sessions in my Study kit.
All this leaves me a deadline to get reading/lectures/articles etc to be completed.
I try and schedule in a random two weeks off for the random things that seem to pop up or stop me from studying.
I’ve found that this way I have lots of time for past papers and questions which for me personally is the best way to revise.
Only downside is when your friends tease you for having a schedule for four months of your life 🙂
