sir, which of the syllabus areas should we devote more attention in order to maximize marks in section A for Audit and assurance exam.
Please see in the Approach to Examining section in the Syllabus and study guide that the 20 and 30 mark Qs will be drawn principally from planning, controls and evidence/procedures

Sorry – I was answering your original question on my mobile and I didn’t see that you specified Section A. Any areas of the syllabus can come up there – typically A and E because they are not “principal” areas for Section B – though they could make up not more than 10 marks of a Section B Question.
