ma’am i know this one’s really silly, but can we say that General overheads are NON-PRODUCTION OVERHEADS, ALWAYS?
I think if something is to be taken to be a production overhead it must be clearly described as such – if not “production overhead” then “factory overhead”, for example.
So yes – “general” as the only descriptor is non-production.
