So I was looking at the Irish paper and one of the questions was what is the maximum time permitted between annual general meetings?

    The answer was 15 months.

    —————–
With respect to Eng/Glo, there is no time limit between the meetings as long as the AGM is held within 6 months following the financial year end, correct?

No, that’s not correct. There is the same 15 month limit between AGMs for a company in English law

But I’m checking to see that this provision has not been altered. But I’m struggling to find a relevant section number within the CA 2006 🙁

Ok thank you! Just making sure. The textbook made no mention of this point so I was not sure.

You’re welcome – though I still couldn’t tie it down to any particular section in CA 2006
