Our answers should be in how many significant figures or decimal places? Because there are questions that aren’t MCQ’s.
In the exam it will be clear from the question.
For the MCQ’s it will be clear from the choices of answers available.
For the other questions, you will be told whether the answer is wanted to the nearest $ or the nearest cent (or whatever 🙂 )
If we have to carry forward a decimal value to use it for further calculations, should we round it off and carry that value or the original, long (say 3.7568332) value?
It doesn’t matter.
It will only be relevant in Section B of the exam, and in Section B the marks are for the workings and the approach and not for the final answer.
