Hey sir.
When do we use gearing ratio as debt/equity and when debt/debt+equityNo real answer to that! It’s whatever you want to use. More likely will be where the examiner gives you a ratio for a competitor or the industry average. The only issue then is to make sure that you calculate the equivalent
