Sir for gearing ratio do we use debt/equity *100 or debt/debt+equity *100 when the question does not specify which method to use
The question will normally make it clear. If not, then if it is a question where you have to choose from several answers then it will be obvious from the answers available. If it is a question where you have to type in the answer then the software will be programmed to accept either answer.
