VarsDecember 8, 2016 at 6:57 pm #362411I have no idea what it means. No one else has mentioned it. I will have to see if it turns up in the questions ACCA release.
December 9, 2016 at 1:31 pm #362631Dear Sir
Below has appeared on the ACCA forums for Paper P5. I am also confused as I have checked both the textbook and OT notes and found nothing of this sort.
I feel quite desperate with the examiner- it seems he is asking questions out of the syllabus.
Anyway, thank you for your reply.
Cheers

4c evaluate causes of corporate failureDecember 9, 2016 at 5:56 pm #362781The common methods of predicting corporate failure are the Z score and the A score. If the question asked for another calculation this would have been fully defined in the question so that you could apply it. It would not be something you would have been expected to know.
