Hi there,

Thank you for you help on my previous question, it makes sense.
When picking a future, date, for example if the exam says today is 01/12/16 a payment of £1m is due in 4 months time so 31/03 and the choice of futures i have are as follows:

March future
June future

would I pick the March future, or would i pick the June future as it’s after the date?

If the transaction occurs on the 1st April, then strictly you would have to choose the June future. However for one day it is hardly relevant and the March future would be OK.
