what is the future of ACCA in pakistan?
Hmmm.. I really don’t know what to say about this.
I am ACCA Finalist with only two papers left to go for.
As for Pakistan particularly, where MBA easily rule over CA and ACCA. I don’t think there will be some great future and similarly when Articleship is banned here. Its all fuzzy.don’t tell me you can be an auditor or tax accountant with an MBA in Pakistan.
Auditors must be members of a professional body, e.g ACCA/ ACA,
you cannot have MBA and call yourself a Professional without being a member of a profession.
So that’s the different between MBA and ACCA. besides ACCA is recognize worldwide Especially the big accountancy firms But Pakistani MBA cannot cross any border.For Auditor and Tax accountant, in Pakistan CA weighs more than ACCA.

MBA from LUMS and IBA in market job sector weighs more than CA. Example one of the big bank with 1500 branches, Vice President is MBA qualified from LUMS while CA Fellowship (more than certain years) guy is working as a mere Credit Control Accountant below him.
So in Pakistan, for a job guarantee, you need some Pakistani qualification that’s a bitter truth, believe or not.
