Kaplan Study text has Further processing decisions under the short term decision making, but I have not seen it anywhere in the lecture and in the Opentuition notes.Has it been removed from the course syllabus ?

It hasn’t been removed from the syllabus but I don’t cover it in my lectures (and nor do we cover it on face-to-face courses) for several reasons.

    1. It is very rarely mentioned in the exam, and when it has been asked it has only been for very few marks.
    2. It doesn’t really require learning any new technique – it you understand everything else then it really just testing your understanding (and that is why only 50% of the exam involves calculations – the examiner is keen on testing that you understand what you are doing and not simply learning ‘rules’)
    3. If you do come across a question in your Revision Kit on this (or any other topic) for which you don’t understand the answer, then that is what this forum is for – ask and I will explain.

We never claim to lecture every single thing in the syllabus – what we do claim is that we cover more than enough to be able to pass the exam well (which is why in the past there have been several cases of students who have studied only using our lectures having won prizes for getting the highest marks in their country 🙂 )
