I passed my ACCA exams in
2011 and become ACCA Affiliate. As a student and affiliate i had to pay annual subscriptioin GBP 70 & 103 respectively.
I had been paying the fee on time. But from Jan 2015 ACCA notified my annual subscription fee increases from GBP 103 to 211, as three years competed after becoming affiliate.
I was jobless for 2 years but i still managed to pay annual subscription fee. Now I got the job but ACCA annual fee is too much for me to pay as it is for ACCA members. I didn’t have professional experince to claim ACCA membership.
I have no intention to continue ICAP qualification or work in audit field. If I don’t pay ACCA annual Subscription fee they will cancel my registration. kindly advise me what should I do. Should I pay annual subscription for three years then claim membership or should I wait for three years after that pay with arrears.
I requested the ACCA to reduce the annul subcription but the replied “Unfortunately, we are unable to waive or reduce the fees for your 2015 annual subscription fee.”
Hi..
I am facing the same situation now as you were facing 2 years back…
I am still unemployed and have to pay the subscription fee.
What did you do then?
Did you pay the subscription on time or did you pay later in arrears?
