in reference to the free lectures which are available on the open tuition i notice they are heading advance audit & assurance (int) . can these lectures be used for the uk advance audit and assurance exams?

I cannot imagine that there is any material difference between the UK variant and the International variant.
Why not compare ( say ) June 2012 exams for both variants and also compare the answers to see if there are any such material differences
