Happy Easter Everyone,
Hope everyone had a great holiday!
In regards to the FR Study Support Guide, ACCA uploaded a table content which students can use as part of their Learning Phase. (page 15 of the Study Support Guide).
Next to each chapter there is a column saying “ACCA related sources”. for example for chapter 1 Introduction to Published Accounts, ACCA recommends to also go through the “Suspense Accounts and Error Correction” which can be found on their site.
I have 2 questions in regards to this
1) Are these sources considered part of the exam material and have to go through them?
2) In the past I’ve read from couple of students that apart from the study texbook/exam kits/open tuition material, it would also be good to go through the technical articles found on ACCA’s site. Are these the technical articles people are referring to?
1) The study guide explains what is it in the syllabus that will be tested in exam, it does not itself provide you with the detailed explanation to the syllabus. Study texts from approved content providers and Opentuition Lectures and notes contain everything that the guide includes. So, you don’t necessarily have to go through the study guide.
2) The technical articles are part of the study support resources for each exam. For FR, technical articles can be found here:
Thank you so much for your reply.
You are welcome.
