    Hallo,
I need to start my FPER but I’m experiencing troubles in understand how can I achieve that.
I’m currently employed in a full time job in Italy in finance role.
I need to find a supervisor because my supervisor is not a qualified accountant and he cannot signs my progress.
    How can I do?
Nonetheless I cannot ask for a remote supervisor, because I’m a student.
I really need some help and assistance.
    Thanks in advance

I am sorry but I do not know any more about the FPER requirements than what is published by ACCA https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/practical-experience-per/practical-experience-foundation-level.html

This is what it says about being a practical experience supervisor in the pdf that you can download from that page Become-a-practical-experience-supervisor-FPER.pdf

    “Qualified for the job
To complete their FPER trainees must find a practical experience supervisor to sign-off their performance objectives and the relevant time they are claiming for their job role.
To be a supervisor you should work closely with the trainee and be familiar with the quality of their work.
To sign-off performance objectives you must be a qualified accountant, recognised by law in your country and/or a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). However you do not need to be a qualified accountant to sign-off the time a trainee has completed in their job role.
Therefore if you are a trainee’s line manager, but not qualified, you can sign-off their time in their job role. They can nominate a second qualified supervisor to sign-off their performance objectives. The second
supervisor may need to contact you to verify their experience.”

In short, your supervisor CAN sign-off on your time and nominate someone who is qualified to sing-off on your performance objectives.

If that doesn’t help, please contact ACCA directly https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us
