    Hey guys!

I am about to attempt the test at the end of Foundations in Professionalism module. But before doing that , though to ask for your experience.

It’s clear that information should be studied well before attempting the test,
    however ,
were there any particular questions or issues you struggled with ?
Are there those who failed it once or several times before passing it finally?

I’ll be thankful for any guidance!

P.S. There was a good topic on this subject at ACCA discuss, but unfornately acca discuss forum is closed now πŸ™

I’d be interested to hear about people’s views and scores on this too. No-one seems to be talking about the results for some reason or is it that there aren’t many people doing it yet?

I’ve worked through all the sections and hope to do the test soon and will report back… I might have to revise the content first though.

I sadly missed the ACCA Discuss posts. Was there any useful info there about this module’s first time pass rates?

    Good luck!

How many times you can attempt Foundations in professionalism from myACCA as I have passed FFB(F1), FMA(F2), need to take my FFA(F3) in december. ACCA customer service said I have to pass FIP in order to get Diploma in FIA..

    Hi Uzair

It seems you can attempt it as many times as you like until you obtain a pass. All the “notes” are contained within the module itself in MyACCA. You work through units and get quizzes at the end of each one, culminating in a test at the end of the module. You need to obtain a 50% pass for this test alone in order to succeed.

    Good luck!

    Can any one answer this??
    (within 250 words)

    1.Why are professional ethics important?

    2. What do you understand by threats to fundamental principles of ethical
    behaviour?

3.What do you understand by the term personal effectiveness?

4.Outline the main benefit of a spreadsheet package to an accountant at work.

    5. How do personal values differ from professional ethics?

The resluts are shown within a few seconds of completing the end of module test. I got 75% in FIP and its quite easy, all the material which ACCA teaches the students in their exams. The FIP takes Max 3 hours to complete and can be attempted as many times as u want. You can give the end of module test multiple times if you dont pass the first time or second or third time also.

You dont need to study it like an exam, just read the material they show u on slides when you access the FIP module and keep it in mind. You would need to write the answers in your own words and not necessarily quote or write the same material they provide you. It has some end of sections Multiple choice questions and some normal questions in which you would have to write in your own words.

    Hi,

I have only learned today about the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business( F1-F9). On one part of ACCA website i see that you get the certificate once you complete Foundations Level and Professional Ethics Module and on another part this thing about completing the Foundations Level and Foundations in Professionalism. Are the Foundations in Professionalism and Professional Ethics Module one and the same thing or are they different? I have also received an Ethics Certificate and a Fundamentals Level Certificate. Is this the Fundamentals Level Certificate the Advanced Dip. certificate?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

So if you study for any of Foundation-level qualifications and want a certificate as proof of the exams you have completed, you are required to complete Foundations in Professionalism. This is an online, interactive module, designed to help you develop your understanding of what it means to act professionally and ethically in the work you carry out.

You can complete Foundations in Professionalism before or after completing the exam component of the qualification you are aiming to achieve and you only need to successfully complete the module once, even if you decide to complete one or more of qualifications.

There is no set time allocated to completing Foundations in Professionalism. We encourage you to complete the module at your own pace to allow you to reflect on what you have learnt.

Also there is no shortcut to pass the exam, you have to prepare it at your own.

@mhuzaifa – welcome to our forums! (However, it would be better to ask on a new post rather than one that is more than 10 years old with a caption that doesn’t ask your question.)

As it says here, certificates are downloadable from myACCA http://www.accaglobal.com/an/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/exam-results/types-of-certificates.html – they are not physically sent to you.

when I transferred from CAT to ACCA I got exemptions from the knowledge level papers and began ACCA directly from skills level papers. In that case will I still get the Diploma in Accounting and Business certificate upon completing FiP? As it says on the website that students who got full exemptions will not be awarded the certificate
