What is the formula for material price planning variance (MPPV) and material usage operational variance (MUOV) ?
Is it MPPV= revised standard quantity(Standard price-revised standard price)?
And MUOV=revised standard price(standard quantity for actual output -actual quantity)Help me please..
The calculations of planning and operational variances are explained in full in my free lectures (and forgive me, but I am not going to type them all out here 🙂 )
(It is dangerous just to learn them as formulae – the examiner deliberately designs questions to test that you understand what is happening and that you have not simply learned a rule.)
