Hi. I noticed that the topics related to the last few chapters in the Workbook (BPP), such as Audit-related Services and Other Assurance Services, Prospective Financial Information, Forensic Audits, and Social, Environmental and Public Sector Auditing, are not popular in the exams. Please may I know whether these topics are actually examinable in AAA exam?

    Thank you.

Short answer – they are examinable!

I don’t have a BPP workbook – perhaps it is saying “not popular” with students?!?!?

See the list of “other assignments” in the contents of our notes (Chapters 26-31 for INT syllabus) – these are syllabus area F – so examinable in Section B of the exam.

I suggest that it is very common for one of the two Qs in Section B to be set in the context of an assignment other than audit. Looking at the comments polls on this forum some students had due diligence in March 2022 – also in December 2021 – and some had a review engagement in September 2021 ….

At the very least candidates need to understand how these other assignments differ from audit – so they can make a reasonable attempt at any scenario that make come up in Section B,
