I note in the Kaplan textbook that at the end of the chapter this is quoted: “Note that no calculation questions will be asked on derivative products in the exam”.
Please can you explain what mathematical questions will be included?
My understanding is that options and futures will not be asked in a mathematical sense, however, does this include forward hedges, money market hedges as forwards are a type of derivative too?

I do actually explain this in my free lectures on foreign exchange risk management!!
Forward rate and money market hedges are not derivatives and calculations using them can (and are) asked. Futures and options are derivatives and although you are expected to know how they work, you cannot be asked calculations.
