This is probably the most stupid question, however, I cannot get me head around how to convert currency. Why do sometimes you divide it, and at other times you multiply.
Every time I think I have it right I don’t. I spend so much time overthinking it, and wasting time.
Please help
If you watch my first free lecture on foreign exchange risk management, then I do explain which rates to use and how to use them (with examples).
The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F9 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
Sir , what is cap, collar and floor please help me with this topic only this concept I don’t kno
Please start a new thread when asking about a new topic – this has nothing to do with foreign exchange rates.
A cap is fixing a maximum interest rate, a floor is fixing a minimum interest rate, and a collar is fixing a minimum and a maximum – infall case by using interest rate options.
These are not really examinable until Paper P4 – everything needed for F9 is explained in my free lectures on interest rate risk management.
