i have no trouble doing the time series analysis from scratch but in my kaplan and bpp notes they somehow say that the trend line equation is always given in an exam.
lastly the forecasting question on the revison i.e q27 is not in the new kits

If you are tested on time series, then it is certainly likely that the trend line equation will be given in the exam. I will look at Q27 and come back.
