1)Sir by Gross misconduct I meant to ask that does gross here means that misconduct should be more than 1 time?

2)Please explain me literal rule once. I do no understand it.

1) No – it means it’s a BIG misconduct

2) When interpreting statute judges are bound to give the meaning to words that is their literal meaning ie the meaning of the word as found in the Oxford English dictionary
