Hello all,
I have failed my last exam in the applied skills level (FM with 47%, thanks for 10 marks related to Islamic finance which I didn’t study much because it supposed not to come up!) so I want to start with Strategic Level.
I wanted to do AFM in June 23 but doing FM and AFM exams on the same day will be a killer so I was thinking about to do SBL alongside FM. Do you think it is advisable?
On top of this there is no availability in centre for SBL exam I would need to do it at home – I only did Law from home and because I couldn’t even have a break I found it awful
They could be done together, but if you are aiming for June I think you are leaving it a bit late to fit in enough SBL question practice.
Perhaps do FM in June then SBL in September when there will be pre-seen exam material and less to read in the exam. The exam time will also fall from 4 hours to 3 hours 15 minutes.
I attend BPP/Kaplan in person lectures and they only start this weekend and in addition I use OT.
I’m two mind about doing 2 exams in one go but at the same due to the marginal fail (and not having to re attend the courses) I will take it easily and make me not work harder for future next exams…
Ok
