Dear John,
I hope you’re well.
A couple of questions – when i get to the end of a chapter in the lecture notes of the syllabus, it then instructs me in some of the chapters to go on to the ACCA website and read a separate article. If i decide not to read these because of time left that i have for exam prep, will this make a lot of difference? Assuming that i’ll go on to complete the BPP revision kit and one of two of the mocks.
Will i also need to watch any of the revision lectures or can i be confident everything is covered in the original lectures, notes and BPP revision kit?
Many thanks.
Ellis
It all depends how much time you have for studying. It is a hard exam and so the more you read the better. The notes, lectures and working through every question in your Revision Kit are enough to be able to pass the exam well. The ACCA articles contain nothing that isn’t in the lectures but do help to check that you really understood them. The Revision Lectures, although not essential, do help to see the best approach in the exam to make sure you do get pass marks – especially given the time pressure in the exam.
Perfect and understood. Thanks John!
You are welcome 🙂
