Hi Sir, what are your thoughts on calculation being tested in this area of the syllabus.
If I am not wrong I do not recall seeing the possible computation aspect of section C3b) in Sept 2022-June 2023 lecture notes.
Syllabus changes: syllabus section C3b) has been updated to make clear that calculations may be required e.g. in calculating the relative cost and risk of short-term and long-term finance, or the relative costs and benefits of aggressive, conservative and matching funding policies.
To add, I saw the addition of Fintech notes though.

This is not a change in the syllabus but just a clarification of the already existing syllabus.
I do not remember any specific calculations being asked in the past, but any arithmetic that could be needed is already covered throughout our notes and lectures – it is not specific just to short-term/long-term finance questions.
