Hi sir,
In the BPP study text, the example that is given for preparing a flexible budget the “total variable costs ($5.145 per hour), how did they get this amount?

I do not have the BPP Study Text – only the Revision Kit – and so without seeing the full question I cannot help you.
Have you watched my free lectures on budgeting? The lectures are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to pass the exam well. The essential book (however you choose to study) is the Revision Kit, because practice at past exam and other exam standard questions is so essential completing your studying.

Since I do not have the question I cannot comment. If you understand everything in our lectures then you should be able to cope with any exam standard question in the Revision Kit.
