    Good morning,

Has anybody used this company for their revision courses? I think it may be useful to “round up” the subject before the final exam, but given the cost of the course I would appreciate any comment from people that has attended a course before.

    (I intend to sit F5/F8)

    Many thanks in advance!

I’ve used First Intuition for revision courses.
It depends whether you want the classroom or online, and whether you want pre-recorded or live.
I’ve always found it very helpful because they first encourage you to attempt the question, and then they go through the question on screen and show you exactly how to unpack it, how to structure and set it out, and where every single mark is.
When you get the online revision course you also get a mock exam as part of the package so you can benchmark your performance. They tend to mark the mock exams quite harshly, but I’d rather they did that than artificially mark you up.

Some of the papers on here though have the question revision lectures which are very similar so make sure you look out for those.

With FI, you get personal contact details for your tutor and can email or phone them which I’ve found useful, and I like the fully marked mock exam as well. That’s important to me.

    Oh many thanks!
Which one would you recommend online or classroom?

It depends what country you’re in and how diligent and determined you are. Have you checked their website yet? I think they’re only in the UK at the moment.

It also depends on your schedule. I can’t commit to prescribed classroom courses (they’re also too far from where I live) so I take the pre-recorded online course. That means that I can watch it when it suits me. The problem is that if you’re ill-disciplined then it’s easy to put these off and off and off because you have no real accountability until it’s too late. Nobody checks up on you whether you’re doing the studies
