Hi sir, financial assets can either be a equity or debt instrument .
But financial liabilities can only be a debt instrument . It cannot be a equity instrument.
Am i right sir ?
Think about compound (mixed) instruments
These have an element of debt as well as an element of equity within them
So, no, financial liabilities can be either debt or equity
Oh yes. True. Okay thanks sir.
