Hi sir, if given financial data for eg year 2008 to year 2011, would it be alright to:

    1) compare the difference for 2008 and 2011 only (like an average increase or decrease)

    Or

    2) compare the difference between 2008 to 2009, 2009 to 2010, 2010 to 2011?

This is with ref to Dec 2012 Q1 (EA Group).

Examiners ans is based on year-on-year but due to time constraint, im wondering if we can compare based on average increase or decrease?
