hi mr.moffat..i want to start prepattion for Paper F3..someone told me Frank Wood Bussiness accounting is best for beginners..so i dont know anything about financial accounting ..so what do you say frank wood bussiness accounting volume 1 is suitable for me?thanks
It is is very very old book and I have not looked at it for years. It is not specifically written for Paper F3 and so will almost certainly not tie in exactly with the current syllabus or the current way the topics are examined.
If you are watching my free lectures for F3 then you do not need a book because the lectures are a complete free course and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
Much more important is that you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers so that you have lots of exam-standard questions to practice (when you have finished studying the topic).
