It is saying that task defined can tell that situation is favorable for leader or unfavorable for a leader.
If task is well defined so favorable circumstances for leader and if task poor defined so it is unfavorable for leader.
I am unable to clear what is meaning of this? Can you please explain tutor?
It is saying that if there is a clear task, solution or methodology then that can be easily explained to subordinates and understood by them: leadership is relatively easy.
If the task is ambiguous, solutions are not obvious and the situation complex then leaders will have a much more difficult time explaining the issues to subordinates, gaining their understanding and motivating them to carry out what the leader has decided. There are more opportunities for disagreement and argument.
