why do we have fair value adjustment in post aquisition net asset calculation, as the balance sheet of post aquisition is already with the adjustment.
Who says that fair value adjustments have been reflected in the post-acquisition statement of financial position?
It’s a most unlikely situation – the subsidiary will most probably retain their assets at their original carrying value as at date of acquisition
Fair value adjustments are in the domain of consolidation exercises
