One of the potential ground for fair dismissal is misconduct. Sir my question is that here misconduct must be done by employee on several occasions for him to be dismissed or even misconduct at only 1 occasion is potential ground for fair dismissal?

It depends upon how serious is the act of misconduct but it would normally require a recurrence of misconduct as well as oral and then written warnings
