Hi guys
I am desperate to pass E1 and cant seem to pass. My last mark was 93.
I need tips please? I am mainly using BPP study texts as well as online tutorials and practice questions.
How can i ensure a pass with my next exam? Im so demotivated!Hiya, What areas or sections are you least comfortable with?
Have used any of CIMA aptitude exam test practice?
The content is quite broad and lots of reading, What helped me was picturing a large organisation and then imaging each department and function, and then listing what each department entails and duties are.
You also have variety of company types and size along with complexity, try building the diffrent structures with dimensions, but also remembering what each section (HR, Finance, IT) entails.
This helps bring it back
You need to be thorough in your knowledge and understanding of each chapter I failed twice for passing when I was revising for the third sitting I made sure my notes were detailed and had full understanding by creating scenarios.
Buy the Kaplan Question book that also helped!

Hi sorry to hear that.
My advice is to break down each topic and attempt all questions to fully understand. Once you are comfortable with all areas in E1.
Perhaps you should purchase the CIMA Aptitude 1 &2, this really helped me helped me pass my exam.
Once you start getting 70% on mock exams, you ideally will be ready to sit the exam and pass.

I use Kaplan to prepare for E1 but not sure I heard about the CIMA Aptitude 1 &2…

Also perhaps move to Kaplan study text which is less wordy then bloated BPP texts
