I have watched all the lectures and done the practise mock but I’ve failed BA2 twice now with 77 and 78 I just can’t take the information in, any advise? I feel like I’ve failed before I’ve even started and it’s really making me question whether I can do this

    Hi Nicola,
That is a shame…my only advice is not to give up. The CIMA exams are a high level & BA2 being mgmt accountancy based – is always going to be the harder one for CIMA ( because they are a mgmt accountancy institute)

Our notes & lectures are very well written – but the more questions you can practice the better- so we do recommend that you obtain a Kaplan exam kit – to supplement question practice.

There is also a Pearson Vue (CIMA authored) tutorial available free – this is a mini-mock (link is below) .
    https://wsr.pearsonvue.com/testtaker/registration/SelectExamPage/CGMA?conversationId=1844086

Finally when you receive your results from your exam – there should be a breakdown in MYCIMA for you explaining the weaker areas – so you can then target any areas using this info on revision.

As always – if you do get stuck on an area or exercise – then post on this forum & we will always help you.

You might also be worth going to our Open Tuition Student forum to see any advice from fellow student sitters who may have extra guidance from a student perspective

    Hope this helps
    Cath
