Hi all
I just found out last night that I had failed AFM for the second time. I started revising for it for the June 2020 session which was cancelled, then I done it in September (1 weeks before my baby boy was born), failed at 42%. Redone it in December and got 46%.
Should I try it again or just admit defeat. This would be my final exam but I’ve just lost all heart in it, and with a 4 month old baby trying to squeeze revision in is going to be difficult.
Has anyone any advice? If I was to try it again what should I do different?

I am sorry that you failed AFM, but given that you were only 4 marks short I would not give up.
I don’t know how you studied last time, but I assume that you used a Study Text and/or our free lectures (if you have not watched our lectures then do 🙂 ).
Did you have a Revision Kit and attempt every question (without looking at the answer until after you had finished your attempt, so as to learn from your mistakes)?
Did you read all of the technical articles on the ACCA website?
In the exam, did you make sure you got the Professional Marks on question 1, and did you do something (however little) for every part of every question? (It is better to write something for every part of every question than to try and completely finish just some parts).
I would try the exam again, but if you have any problems with either our lectures or with answers in your Revision Kit, then do ask in this forum and I will help you.

To revise I used both a study text and your lectures, however I went through past papers rather than a revision kit.
I have ordered a revision kit and I have booked the exam again in March. Whilst waiting on it to arrive I am currently reading the technical articles.
