Hi, I am starting to study towards the FA exam in January and but I will be working full time too. I am going to aim to study 8-10hrs per week. I am wondering when I should book the exam, my local exam center gets booked up months ahead. Unsure if I give myself 12 weeks to cover everything, or less time. Or should I just wait till last minute and when I am passing the mock tests then book the exam? Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks!

It is hard for me to know how long it will take you to study because I do not know how easy or difficult you will find the topics.

What I would suggest is that you start working through our free lectures and notes. When you are half way through you will have a good idea as to how long it is taking you and that it is then you should book your exam.
