Hi all, dilemma here… I have failed FM in December 19 sitting with 46% ( I didn’t do enough of objective question practice as well as discursive..). I have passed F6 – Tax last March with 60%.
I am now considering doing re-sit for F9 and ATX (my first exam from the Strategic Professional level) together in March so not to lose any time…
I know it is advisable to do Ethics module before attempting any of the Strategic, but I am not sure whether I would have time for this.
The plan is to study 3-4 hours after work 4 days a week and about 6 hours on Saturday and Sunday…
What do you think? I am aware of the new finance act after March, so if I fail it’s the new finance act etc
I sat FM with ATX in December – admittedly I failed FM again however that was due to making silly mistakes and therefore losing marks. You weren’t too far off a pass meaning you have the knowledge there.
Don’t worry about doing the ethics module beforehand, I still haven’t done mine yet and have passed 2/4 professional papers so far.
I think it’s perfectly doable as long as you don’t spend ages on one and neglect the other.
