Hi there,
I’ve already stared work on F9 for December 2013 and so far I’m finding this ok. I was going to try and squeeze F5 in but just wondered if anyone found this combination worked well or not.
Thanks
LydiaAugust 14, 2013 at 11:26 pm #138096Hello
I was thinking of doing the same. I have started lectures for F5 however, after listening to the tutor saying that the pass rate is only between 30 & 40 % i’m thinking of just sticking to the one exam and doing F5.

August 14, 2013 at 11:27 pm #138097Hi,
Maybe you’ll find answer here https://opentuition.com/surveys/which-is-the-best-acca-papers-combination/August 15, 2013 at 5:51 am #138112Well you can study both but that again depends how much time you dedicate for studies and other commitments. If at all you think of doing both then I would suggest to start studying now 🙂
Cheers!
August 15, 2013 at 3:33 pm #138186Thanks for the replies I know it all comes down to what time I have to commit to it. I wasn’t aware that f5 has such a low pass rate. Will keep on with f9 for the rest of this week and see how I feel
Thanks again

Someone mentioned that F5 has low pass rate because of many students has exemptions from F1-F4, and F5 is their first exam. And they think that ACCA exam may be easy 🙂
Also, F5 has pretty big syllabusAugust 19, 2013 at 6:02 am #138510I agree! F5 is pretty big syllabus! and this is one paper where you shouldnt under-estimate the examiner (though you shouldnt with any :p) The examiner has quiet good surprise element in every exam session, atleast thats what i feel. The more you practice this paper the less it is. Practice good y’ll 😉
