Can we use F8 Jun 2015 BPP/Kaplan material for F8 Sept 2015 exam, or needs to wait and get the revised ones?

    Sadly no.

ACCA constantly assess their exams to ensure they are relevant, and up to date meaning that students are equipped with the right skills employers want – ultimately making them more employable in today’s workplace.

ACCA’s syllabus is refreshed each year and issued with effect from September each year (other than for tax exams where the update cycle is different).

The September 2015 session will use a syllabus that is valid for exams in September and December 2015, and March and June 2016. Tax exams in September 2015 will use a syllabus that is valid for exams in June, September and December 2015 and March 2016.

    Thank you William!

This is not too good, so we cannot start the preparation for the September sitting until we get the revised study materials.

I wanted to sit for two papers in September, but how to study without the proper material?
I was happy about the September sittings at the beginning, but now I don’t really see the point to be honest.

The syllabus may not have any significant changes to it. Acca publishes changes so worth a look.

Remember, exam entry for the September 2015 session opens to all students on 6 July 2015 and is open until 10 August. The Syllabus and Study Guides for exams from September 2015 are already available on the website, but here is a summary of how the exams that will be offered in the September 2015 session are affected by the syllabus updates:

    F5, Performance Management

    No changes
    F6 (UK), Taxation

    No changes
    F7 Financial Reporting

Two areas of the syllabus will be examined under new accounting standards:

    IFRS 9, Financial Instruments, and

    IFRS 15, Revenue from Contracts
    with Customers

    F8, Audit and Assurance
    No changes

Pls go through the following link:

Hi there, I am an ACCA student from Bangladesh. If I would like to sit for the Sep 2015 exam session. Is it possible to do so? For your kind information I have already applied for the sitting from my ACCA of ACCA portal, but the exam option is stating December 2015.

Please assist me regarding this. It would highly be appreciated should you let me know earlier for further decision.
