    Hi

When are the notes/lectures for F8 March 2018 coming out and should I begin with the current version until those come out or will there be substantial changes?

    Thanks for the great service!

There will be no substantial changes to the notes for March 2018.

I am planning to take f8 paper in March 2018 and it will be my first time. How can I plan my studies as I am planning for self study and would it be good to take exams in March or should I postpone to June.

    Thanking in advance!!

Just start going through our the notes and lectures. Aim to get through all about 6 weeks before the exam. Try our testa after each chapter.

Buy a question bank/revision kit from BPP or Kaplan. Then start revising and going through the notes again and trying the questions in revision kit.

When you try questions, do not mark the book with your chosen answers. Put your answers on a separate piece of paper so the book is kept fresh. If you get the question right (and it is not just a guess), tick the question as you don’t need to keep trying it. As you go through the questions again and again more and more should be ticked….until all are. This lets you concentrate on what you don’t know instead of what you do know.

    To: Mr. Ken Garrett

Hi Mr. Ken. I also plan to take F8 exam on March 2018. I am not sure whether or not I should make my own notes for each chapters that i will learn when concerning about the time. Hmm… Should i make my own notes or am i wasting time?

Our notes are already quite concise.

I suggest that you print them out, then underline and highlight poinnts you think important. There ia also room to add your own annotations/brief notes.

    Hi,

I am doing the resit for F8 in March 2018 which I was out for a couple of marks.

I am reading my ACCA study book text but it is not updated for March 2018, would that be ok?

    Thanks

Generally notes, lectures and lots of question practice using a revision kit or question bank from BPP or Kaplan will be enough. Reserve the text for selective use if you feel you need more detail on specific topics.
