    @acca – My exam technique

    I managed to finish all the papers i have sat till now. I usually start with reading the written Q and see what the subject area is related to which Q (meaning i only read the requirements). Then i do the MCQ – usually there are some reminders about the theory part in there so it’s a good memory test and “wake up”. Then i start with the Q that has the biggest marks and leave the ones with lowest last.

    Of course you need to choose fist which Q you are most familiar with and leave the one you don’t know the last.

    As an example:
    F8 i did: MCQ and then 6,5,3,2,1.

    The use of opentuition for ACCA exam preparation was quite useful to me, it guided me on how to tackle exam questions and impacted much in my knowledge of papers F8 and F7. I remain so grateful to the opentuition management.

    Contingent asset if only virtually certain..which I don’t think it was if I remember rightly?

    Yea, the first mcq was very confusing……auditor has a right to attend gm, and a duty to form an opinion…..

    Mentioned in explicit duties of an auditor

    So i chose the option “attend gm only”

    @Andrea
    I totally agree, I mentioned that as they felt it was done intentionally, it is unlikely to be probable either so no disclosure was needed either as it is not likely.

    That’s great. Congrats. And best of luck for upcoming exams. And can you please advice me if i can prepare F9 myself without any lecturer?
