Am I the only person who think that MCQs are easier than those of previous examinations?

What procedures you guys wrote on PPE?
    Mine were
    1. review board minutes to ensure authorization of capital expenditure.
    2. review disposal proceeds of aged fixtures and fittings and cast to verify arithmetic accuracy.
    3. obtain breakdown of expenditure to confirm the nature of expenditure, if this is of capital expenditure then agree to NCA register.
    4. Review disposal proceeds and verify that the fittings sold are completely removed from NCA reg.
    5. recalculate the dep charge to ensure that it has been calculated on revalued amount and agree to income statement.
    6. can’t remember πŸ™

Dear it was material and pervasive so disclaimer was the right one, i think.

In system hack I wrote disclaimer, cuz it was really pervasive.
In the valuation error it was some 15% of profit – so material. Whether it’s pervasive or not – I wrote it’s up to the auditor’s judgement (I don’t really know). If pervasive – adverse, if not – qualified. Can it work this way?

What did you write, is it an adjusting event?

Everyone works at a different pace but it’s an advantage to finish every question with some spare time, you would then have time to review and add to your answers.
I never have spare time because I can’t physically write fast enough! I’m looking forward to taking my next exam (F7) on PC and I’m confident I will have more time!

I saw one guy just sitting there for 20 mins at the end- that’s madness! Surely there’s more that can be added

I remember answering ‘B’ to a lot of the multiple choice questions

For the system hacking question i stated that the audit opinion would be disclaimer of opinion

What did everyone put for the question on testing the controls for the inventory count? I remember writing that the auditor should attend the count and obserseve…for most of the deficiencies

Thought the multiple choice was ok. Questions 1,2, 5 & 6 were straightforward. 3 & 4 were the two I struggled with.

    gosia123 I got similar answers to yours. My multiple choice answers are A A C A D C C C B D A D

Personally I feel that I should pass the exam. I found the MCQs to be a bit tricky, but Section B was quite straightforward, apart from the Reporting Question which I messed up
