What are the major differences between F8 UK and F8 International
Some students tend to do the UK paper simply because the feel it easier.
Whats your advice on that?
It depends where do you live and what are your plans for the future. The differences are not huge – it is similar as F7 – you have to learn int standards and then would be additional chapters explaining where UK stream differs. Yesterday I phoned to ACCA and got the answer: If you ever plan to work as auditor in the UK you have to do UK stream but if you don’t live in the UK or don’t plan to work as auditor in the UK you don’t need to do UK variant. And important thing is – all P papers must be taken from the same stream. From student point of view – UK means additional chapters to learn.
