    They try not to. Obviously, if there are so many errors that the answer cannot be understood then marks are lost. However, occasional grammar and spelling errors are ignored.

    They are different.

    ‘identify 5 weaknesses’ would be looking for 5 problems with the system of internal control.

    ‘identify 5 audit risks’ is much wider and could include: a new IT system, high turnover in audit staff, high value but portable inventory, a cash based business. Poor internal control can itself be an audit risk.
