Hi, after 4 fails and leaving it for 2 years I am going to have another go at F7 – now it’s personal! I will be self studying with open tuition course notes and purchase of a new practise revision kit nearer the time. I plan to do it over a longer period for maximum absorption so going for June 2015. When I did this in class I remember they covered it in a different order from the course notes to get the best from it but I have no notes of that. Is anyone currently studying or recently done F7 in a class who can remind me please? I need all the help I can get…

Master the whole syllabus. Get a BPP study text and master it all. Don’t leave out anything. Only then you will pass. The MCQs come from all the areas of F7 and you can get solid 40 marks if you cover everything. Plus master consolidations. Memorize the proforma. Last 30 marks question comes from consolidation. the remaining 2 questions come from various topics which is why I’m telling you not to just learn one thing and leave out the other. That is major exam pitfall. Hope this helps
