    Hello Members!!

    I know you all would be very well aware of all this stuff but just to review lets have a look at it again!!

    To pass this paper we should be able to
    Discuss and apply a conceptual framework for accounting
    Discuss a regulatory framework for financial reporting
    Prepare and present financial statements that conform with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
    Account for business combinations in accordance with IFRS
    Analyze and interpret financial statements.

    And this represents having a complete grip over our five syllabus sections
    A conceptual framework for financial reporting
    A regulatory framework for financial reporting
    Financial statements
    Business combinations
    Analyzing and interpreting financial statements

    Exam format
    3 hour exam with 15 minutes reading and planning time
    Total marks 100
    Total no of questions 5

    Q # 1 Preparation of consolidated accounts 25
    Q # 2 Preparation of single company accounts 25
    Q # 3 Interpretation or preparation of cash flow
    or interpretation of accounts 25

    Q # 4 (15 marks) and 5 (10 marks) will cover the rest of the
    syllabus
