Dear Sir,
I am starting to study for Acca f7, I was wondering do I need to read first few chapters from the bpp text or is it okay If I just read the notes as well as watching the lectures after.
Is it a good idea to go through all notes and lectures first then do questions or shall I do questions after I finish each chapter?
Many Thanks
You should read the first chapters in the F7 notes – there’s not a lot in them so that’s why there are no lectures
But with the mcq format of the paper it is now possible for mcq questions worth 1 or 2 marks to be asked in these areas whereas previously it was effectively impossible for the examiner to test these few topics
The BIG areas that you MUST get on top of are:
consolidations
preparation of single entity financial statements
cash flow statements
interpretation of financial statements
Pretty well everything else is a bonus
OK?
Okay thank you for making it clear sir.
You’re welcome
